Massaya Faqra is delighted to announce an International Chefs Program as part of our celebration of 20 years of winemaking in Lebanon.
Take advantage of this opportunity to host a table for family and friends or as a treat for your staff. 

The visiting chef will take charge of our kitchen and will prepare a celebration lunch on Saturday as a set menu. You and your guests will be able to see the team at work and discuss gastronomy with the chef. 


Melissa O'Donnell

She fell in love with restaurants while waitressing as a student and now she's marking 15 years running her own on New York's eclectic Lower East Side. Until recently her restaurant was Thelma on Clinton Street, after her Lebanese grandmother, and Melissa is one of the best known chefs in the neighbourhood. Last autumn she transformed it into Lil' Gem serving what she describes as 'Lebanese-ish' dishes. She says her cooking combines the flavour, the feeling and the essence of Lebanon.

Smoked Trout Quinoa Kibbé, Salmon Roe, Dill, Herbed Labneh

A choice of main course
Smoked Eggplant, Beet Tartare, Roasted Garlic, Tahini Sauce
Duck Leg Confit, Braised Cabbage, Shawarma Spice
Lamb, Cured and Smoked, Wilted Greens, Lemon, Mint
