During this winter season we are doing things a bit differently. We have created what we are calling a 'Sun&Snow Buffet' open from 11.30am on Sundays. Here we provide a swift service for sports people and for visitors who like to sit out on the terrace to enjoy the mountain air. Our new menu is perfect for visitors in a hurry to get back down the mountain after a morning's action on the slopes or for guests who want to sit and sip a glass of wine with a cheese selection in the calm of our outdoor tables. Whichever menu you choose, there's always a great meal at the Fireplace.
The Sun&Snow Buffet includes soup, an imaginative range of salads with hot and cold appetisers from the Fireplace station. Our prices include open wine and arak and anyone with time to turn brunch into lunch has the full menu to choose from.
We're proud of our Authentic Sunday Brunch which will be back after the ski season. The Brunch has subtly changed and improved since we first introduced the idea at Tanaïl 15 years ago. We brought the concept of a friendly, informal, unhurried meal to Mount Lebanon and it is now a feature of our Faqra weekends.
In addition to our longtime favourites: frikeh, grilled vegetables, lapin à la moutared, poulet au whisky and Australian grass-fed beef, we have extended our menu by adding filet oriole, grilled foie gras with carob sauce, mountain sausages... all inspired by combining the authenticity of our Beqaa roots with the experience of Massaya's journeys around the world where we sell 75 percent of our production.
