LOCATION: grapes grown at more than 1 000 metres above sea level, on the foothills of Mount Lebanon, in the Hadath Baalbeck area, overlooking the famed Baalbeck temples of Jupiter, Bacchus and Venus.
AREA: 19 acres.
SOIL AND SUBSOIL: chalky clay.
GRAPE VARIETIES: grenache noir 40%, syrah 30%, mourvèdre 30%.
VINE AGE: 20 years on average.
VINIFICATION: conducted at our Tanaïl winery. Grapes are hand-picked, conveyed in crates, and sorted on tables. They are fully destemmed, then vinified for 20 to 30 days in temperature controlled oak vats.
MATURATION: 20 to 22 months in large oak vats. Bottled without fining or filtering at 2 years.

Pale ruby in colour, with a nose that subtly blends violets and very ripe red berry fruits. On the palate, seductive velvety elegance overlays an attractive weave of fine tannins, highlighting the minerality of the terroir.
Raisins cultivés sur les coteaux de Ras Baalbeck, à l'extrême nord-est de la vallée de la Béqaa. Une bouche avenante, élégante et veloutée qui se superpose à une belle trame de tanins fins, laissant ressortir la minéralité du terroir.
LOCATION: grapes grown on the hillsides of the north-easterly portion of the Beqaa Valley at an altitude of 1 200 metres, in the Ras Baalbeck area. An arid and continental environment, where Mount Lebanon and the Anti-Lebanon mountain ranges meet.

PERSONALITY AND AGEING: an elegant distinctive pale ruby wine with a nose that subtly blends violets and ripe red berry fruits leading to a progressive body and a compelling minerality. Seductive velvety elegance overlays an attractive weave of fine tannins, highlighting the minerality of the terroir. Suitable for ageing.

GRAPE VARIETIES: grenache noir 35%, cinsault 35%,

VINE AGE: 40 years on average.
VINIFICATION: conducted at our Tanaïl winery. Grapes are hand-picked, conveyed in crates, and sorted on tables outside the vat room. They are fully destemmed, then undergo traditional fermentation for 20 to 30 days in stainless-steel vats.
MATURATION: in vats for 1 year. Bottled at about 12 months.

MASSAYA BLANC
A wine packed with fruit and freshness. The native obeidi variety imparts a hint of easygoing eastern style. Enjoy in the first 2 years after bottling.
Un vin sur la fraîcheur et le fruit. Sa touche orientale lui est apportée par le cépage endémique obeïdi.
LOCATION: grapes grown on the foothills of the Mount Lebanon mountain range between 1 200 and 1 600 metres above sea level.
AREA: 19 acres.
SOIL AND SUBSOIL: chalky clay.
GRAPE VARIETIES: obeïdi 20%, rolle 20%, clairette 20%, sauvignon blanc 20%, chardonnay 20%.
VINE AGE: 20 years on average.
VINIFICATION: conducted at our Faqra winery. Grapes are hand-picked and conveyed in crates. Direct pressing with a pneumatic press, static settling, and fermentation in foudres (30 hl) and demi-muids.
MATURATION: on the lees for about 8 months in foudres and demi-muids. Bottled at 8 months.
PERSONALITY AND AGEING: a well-balanced blanc with white flower scents. It combines depth, roundness, crispiness and an oriental twinkle thanks to the local obeïdi. Enjoy in the first 2 years after bottling.

MATURATION: in oak barrels for 1 - 2 years. Bottled without fining or filtration.
