A walk on the wild side – with brunch to follow
Put on your walking shoes - it’s time to step out for an exhilarating hike in the mountains. Massaya is organising the hike around Faqra before serving up its famous Sunday Brunch at the winery on May 26.
We’ll be setting off at 10am and we’ll be back in time for the start of brunch at 11.30. The walk will be on a circuit that takes in Faqra’s two best known landmarks, the natural bridge and the Roman temple. The views are stunning and the paths are not too challenging – just enough for you to work up a thirst and an appetite and to feel good about your morning’s outdoor exercise.
Our friendly staff will be ready at the finish with a choice of refreshments and aperitifs. What could be better than a chilled rosé, a white wine spritzer or even an arak cocktail before you sit down to a well earned meal.
