The Hébrard dynasty, from Saint Emilion Bordeaux to the Bekaa
Valley, Lebanon
The Hebrard family in Saint Emilion is a dynasty that contributed
to the Bordeaux image in the world through the ownership of Château Cheval Blanc.
The family sold Cheval Blanc to the group of Mr. Arnault, LVMH, and simultaneously
Dominique Hebrard invested in the development of Massaya wines in the Bekaa Valley, Lebanon.
In reality Dominique Hébrard is still extremely involved in the wine production and wine trade as a co-owner of Château de Francs (with Hubert de Bouard de la Forest),of Château Bellefont Belcier and Château Trianon in Saint Emilion and of course Massaya in Lebanon. Dominique is also at the helm of Maison Hebrard SA a wine trading firm in Bordeaux.
Least but not last, Dominique Hebrard is a wine lover and a confirmed sailor, you might read his name in the sport pages as member of a sailing team touring the world....
