Arak - an exceptional spirit
There is a saying in Lebanon – the better the wine, the better the Arak. That is why at Massaya we make sure to select the finest Obeidi grapes that are grown extensively in the Beqaa.

BECOME FAMILIAR WITH OUR FASCINATING JOURNEY OF ARAK MAKING THAT DATES BACK TO 1992

First of all, the grapes are harvested by hand in September. Then they are mechanically de-stemmed and gently crushed in a press to obtain the best Obeidi juice.

Join us this Sunday and Monday for a live workshop of Arak distillation to monitor and participate in the triple distillation process that will transform the wine into El Massaya Arak. Enjoy afterwards a tasting of Lebanon’s national drink that is made with much care at Massaya.
So come early, learn Arak making, extend your stay and enjoy Massaya’s Spring buffet of Lebanon's revisited staples with open Arak and Wine.
